At Penji, we help college-level student support centers reach more students and operate more efficiently. This is relationship-focused work - we are constantly meeting with directors, coordinators, and tutors/advisors/coaches to ensure that they are on track to meet their goals (maximizing student visit #'s, sharing reports with campus, improving center design) and that the Penji platform is being used to it's full potential.
We are a rapidly growing startup (about to launch at 50 universities after 2 years) and quickly running out of bandwidth to provide the excellent service we pride ourselves on.
Basics of the role

Begins as a contract-based role of 20 hours per week; potential to evolve into a full-time opportunity by November 2021 (can remain contract if you'd like).

$20/hr - $30/hr on contract for contract period; $45K-$60K if hired full time.

Penji is a fully-remote team - work from anywhere!

Hours worked should be centered on the workday, but you'll have plenty of flexibility here.

Duties include:

Learning the ins and outs of the Penji platform by attending meetings with Penji cofounders

Independent meetings with customers to review results, discuss issues, make program changes, etc. Multiple meetings per week.

Email and phone support (admins, tutors, users, prospective clients)

Collaborate with Penji team on an expanding "Help Center" of support articles and videos

Listen to customers, understanding their day-to-day and bringing learnings back to our product team

Desired skills and background

College degree recommended but not required

Excellent communicator, both writing and verbal

Organized - don't miss emails, reply in a timely fashion

Higher Ed background a plus; passion for education a must
